Roy Police Officer Shoots Man With His Own Gun
A Roy Police officer disarms a suspect and magdumps his own gun into him.
On 02/21/2017 Roy Police officers were called to a local convenience store in reference to a trespasser. Upon arrival, they spoke with 38-year-old Nickolas Sanchez.
Officer speak with Sanchez outside of the convenient store. One officer spots a gun in Sanchez’s waistband when he lifts up his shirt. Officers told Sanchez not to reach for the gun and Sanchez takes off on foot.
The secondary officer on scene fires a shot that doesn’t hit anything.
The Roy police officer chasing Sanchez tackles him and the two wrestle over the gun. The officer is able to get the gun away and dump the entire magazine into Sanchez.
