Oakwood Village Officer Tased and Patrol Car Stolen

Bystander footage from two different angles shows an Oakwood Village officer Tased and patrol car stolen.

On 11/01/2016 an Oakwood Village officer tried to stop a stolen vehicle. The vehicle sped off and led the officer on a short chase before wrecking. The driver of the stolen vehicle bailed out of the car and tried to get into other occupied vehicles.

The officer caught up to the suspected car thief and attempted to Tase him. The officer and the suspect struggled over the Taser before the suspect took it and used it on the officer.

A 70 year old man also tries to assist the officer and is injured in the struggle.

The suspect suddenly jumps into the officers patrol car and takes off. The patrol vehicle was later found abandoned.

It was later discovered that the stolen car was linked to several armed robberies. A loaded gun was found in the car. Two weeks later, 20-year-old Brico Allen was charged for this incident and several robberies.
