English Police Attacked by Man With Hammer
Sussex, England police have a hard time taking down a man with a hammer even though they have a k9.
On 01/07/2016 Sussex, England officers were responding to a break in. When officers arrived on scene 35-year-old Afghan national Jamshid Piruz attacked the officers with a claw hammer.
The officers deployed several Tasers during the incident, but none of them made proper contact. For some reason, the k9 on scene was not set loose at anytime during the incident.
Officers were finally able to subdue the man and take him into custody. Officers Jessica Chick and Stuart Young were injured during the incident.

Notes:
- Piruz has been jailed for 6 years in the Netherlands after holding a woman captive and cutting her throat.
- He was let into the UK unchecked.
- Was only sentenced to 3 years for this attack on police.
- It’s England, so naturally they don’t have guns.
