Knife Wielding Jerry Jackson Is Shot and Killed By Police
Fort Collins, CO resident Jerry Jackson comes at police with a knife and it doesn’t end well for him.
On 08/25/2016 Fort Collins police officers respond to a domestic disturbance involving 63-year-old Jerry Jackson. When officers arrived on scene Jackson approached them with a six-inch long fillet knife. Officers begged Jackson to drop the knife several times.
The Fort Collins police officers on scene deployed two Tasers. Both Tasers failed to make proper contact on Jackson.
Jackson continued to approach officers despite their orders. Three Fort Collins officers opened fire on him. Nine shots were fired by the three officers. Seven of the shots hit Jackson, fatally wounding him.
