18-Year-Old Curtis Deal Killed After Pointing Gun at Baltimore Officer
Baltimore, MD Police shoot and kill Deal after he bails during a traffic stop then pulls out a loaded gun and points it at a detective.
On 02/07/2017 18-Year-Old Curtis Deal bailed out of a vehicle during a traffic stop by Baltimore Police. Five-year police veteran David Kincaid Jr. chases Deal on foot. They run for a short distance before Deal runs down an alley then turns around and heads back towards Kincaid.
Deal puts some distance between himself and Kincaid before turning around and pointing a loaded gun at the detective.
Kincaid fires seven shots from his service pistol. Four of those shots hit Deal, fatally wounding him.

Notes:
- Deal had been arrested three times within the past month before his death.
- On January 4, he was arrested for gun possession and released on $75,000 bail.
- He was arrested again on January 30 for alleged possession of heroin and was released on his own recognizance.
- On February 2, he was arrested for a handgun violation and allegedly carrying 660 gelcaps of heroin.
